At Ploof Therapy, our mission is to provide thoughtful, compassionate mental health care that helps people move from places of pain, fear, and uncertainty toward lives marked by resilience, hope, and renewed purpose. We believe that healing begins in a safe and respectful space where individuals, children, adolescents, and families are welcomed exactly as they are and supported as they move forward one step at a time.

Our Practice

Our practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches and personalized care. Therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Each person’s story, personality, and life circumstances guide the work we do together. Drawing from person-centered therapy, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, art-based interventions, mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic methods, treatment is carefully tailored to meet the needs of each client.

We have served hundreds of children (2 years and up), teens, adults, and family groups facing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and emotional or behavioral concerns. Our work is guided by compassion, professional expertise, and a collaborative relationship that honors the strengths and inner capacity for growth within every person.

We passionately believe that real healing and hope is possible because over the past decade we have personally witnessed it in our lives and in the lives of our clients and others! With the right support, guidance, and space to grow, individuals and families can rediscover hope, rebuild confidence, and move toward fuller, more meaningful lives, and move more confidently in the direction of their dreams and desires.
